SDIA’s Performance Enhancement Consultant

Chea Hutton, Ph.D, is a Sport Psychology Consultant to amateur and professional athletes. As a figure skating coach and former competitive skater, Chea understands the pressures of competitive sport. Chea strives to teach her clients how to dependably achieve peak performances. Her main focuses are performance enhancement, confidence development, coping with competitive pressure, assisting with injury rehabilitation, conflict resolution, and motivation for her athletes.

She also specializes in Neurofeedback as part of her practice. Neurofeedback, also known as EEG Biofeedback or Neurotherapy, challenges the brain to function more efficiently. Individuals use Neurofeedback to enhance performance, aid in faster recovery after injury, regulate sleep, minimize or eliminate migraines, control ADD and ADHD, and diminish anxiety and depression. This non-invasive procedure has dramatic results for a multitude of symptoms.

It has been stated numerous times that performance is 90% mental. The issue with this statement is that most athletes spend 100% of their time focusing on the physical aspects of mastering their sport. The area that actually separates successful athletes from those who fail to meet their full potential is, unfortunately, neglected. Sport performance really is 100% mental. “Our thoughts influence our actions and our actions influence our thoughts”.

Whether it’s getting your nerves under control, or just seeking a competitive edge, a sport performance consultant can help. Please contact Dr. Chea Hutton for more information
